David is the HSEQ Manager of Infrastructure Projects for Silcar Communications, a company working to enhance performance and reliability in mobile, fibre, copper and hybrid cable systems, as well as network infrastructure and mission critical equipment across Australia.
With an education from the University of the West Indies, David continued to find his niche in the Health and Safety sector. Earning a Diploma in Health and Safety, David launched his career with 12 years at Telstra, gaining a diverse spectrum of talents in Civil Construction, as a Jointer, Scheduler and Supervisor.
Joining Silcar as a Construction Supervisor in 2006, David swiftly advanced to his current position as HSEQ Manager, allowing him to extend his profound knowledge in Health and Safety. Drawing on 17 years of extensive experience, David currently specializes in Civil Infrastructure as he oversees Health and Safety for Infrastructure Projects.
David is affiliated with HSE People and Work Health Safety Harmonisation Australia. In his free time, David enjoys spending time with his family.
